Electric Thermal Store A new cylinder style thermal store with a separate cold section - it can be installed without a discharge if preferred. Perfect for modern apartments or the all electric home, this hot water system gives you the benefits of mains pressure hot water. Designed with modern lifestyles in mind, installation is simple, maintenance is low and the unit is compact. The hot water store works on the thermal store principle of using a bank of heated water with an efficient internal heat exchanger connected to the mains for safe fast showering and bath filling. The unit is fitted with a hot water control pack and two 3kw immersion heaters. It should be connected to low tariff supply and used during appropriate periods for maximum efficiency. Universal Thermal Store This universal thermal store has been designed to work with a number of heat sources including heat pumps, solid fuel appliances, and solar as well as electric and conventional boilers. Hot water is safely delivered at mains pressure through an integral coil via the fitted hot water control pack for fast bath filling and power showering without a pump. In summer the solar coil, if utilised, will provide most of your hot water needs. Central heating is taken from the store which acts as a buffer for fast radiator or under floor heat up. The energy can be provided from any source, and lower temperature devices such as heat pumps can be boosted by the higher immersion heater for domestic hot water provision. On the coldest days the lower immersion heater can be utilised to raise the water temperature.
