ROOFING REPLACEMENT Durasteel Project Design Attention to detail is essential to the smooth running of any project. In constant consultation with our clients from an early stage, our estimators optimise the technical and value engineering requirements of a contract. Once an order is received a handover meeting is held between the estimators, contracts staff and CAD designers to finalise design and programme in conjunction with the client. The designers will then develop and finalise the detail design and regulation compliance to the client’s requirements. Following this, our CAD draughtsmen produce production drawings to ensure that all construction details work technically and aesthetically and so that our operatives know precisely how to sequence and assemble the systems on site in the most efficient way. It is of course vital that the horizontal and vertical joints and the interfaces with windows and curtain walling are accurately gapped and aligned. To achieve this, the position of every panel, fixing, bracket and support framework is detail drawn. Templates are designed and fabricated for setting out on site and laser levelling used for horizontal alignment.
