Very quickly the Forde name became synonymous with quality products which were well designed and built to last. These products included a full range of farmyard equipment, cattle penning, tractor trailers and steel framed buildings. A year later Mick was joined by his wife Mairead to manage the finances which she continues to manage in a very efficient manner to this day. In the early 90s it was decided to specialise in designing, fabricating and erecting steel framed buildings for the agricultural and industrial market. A new streamline, purpose built workshop was erected which helped the company to produce buildings at competitive rates. As the years rolled on the Forde name had become more widely known in the industrial sector due to the fact that customers found that by taking advantage of the experience and advice offered by the company they could get the best value for money buildings erected by Fordes. In the year 2000 Pat Healy joined the company to deal with the increased volume in sales of structural steel commercial/industrial buildings. The fact that Pat can look after the pricing, steel & cladding detailing, procurement and project managing means the customer can be assured of getting the best personal attention and efficient management for the project. Cathal Deasy joined the team in 2006 and he looks after the Agricultural Building side of the business in the same manner as Pat.
