Firestone Rubbercover EPDM is a 100% cured single-ply roofing membrane made of a synthetic rubber Ethylene-Propylene-Diene Terpolymer. Firestone Rubbercover can be used in both commercial and domestic uses and can be used in conjuction with various insulations. Built-up Felt roofing. Using only the best materials our high performance built up felt roofing systems offer guarantees ranging from 10 years to 20 years. Torch-on membranes have an underside which has been pre treated with a covering of thermofusible bitumen. This covering is then heated with a propane gas torch and the membrane is then applied to the surface of the roof while the bitumen is still hot. With its latest Twin Blend Bitumen Technology the torch on felt system benefits from both lower melt (SBS) modifications to the lower surface which require less heat and high melt (APP) modifications on the upper surface for added protection, with reduced foot markings and damage. We offer complete strip and re-tile options which see the existing ‘sarking’ felt replaced with a breathable membrane and the existing battens replaced with ‘tanilized’ battens which will not rot.
