The Mill (building)

The Mill is a 23-storey, mixed-use development located on the Ipswich Waterfront. It comprises 215 flats and 1 commercial unit across two buildings, a main white tower and The Mill House. Standing at 71 metres, it is the tallest building in Ipswich and Suffolk. Construction began in 2007 and finished in 2009 at a cost of £42 million. The development faced financial difficulties, leading to unfinished interiors and cladding and structural issues that have required extensive repairs and potential demolition, with a recent purchase for redevelopment aiming to address these problems.
